Douban E-books and Google Fonts

Free Chinese e-books at Douban: https://read.douban.com/category/free/

The e-books are readable on my laptop but I wanted to try to read them on my tablet so I downloaded Douban Read app (豆瓣读书). Thankfully, no registration necessary.

Breathtaking.

I was impressed with the beautiful font.

But I couldn’t read the pages… yet so I uninstalled the app.

So now I wanted beautiful Chinese fonts for my computer, too. I downloaded and installed “Noto Sans SC (Chinese Simplified)” from Google Fonts: https://fonts.google.com/earlyaccess#Noto+Sans+SC

Can it be any cuter? Even the Japanese characters look cute.

I thought the new Chinese font looked pretty and I was satisfied. The end. ###
